Who is responsible
This is the personal website of Gabriele Aimone, based in Finland. I am responsible for any personal data handled through it. You can reach me at gabri@aimone.io.
What this site stores on your device
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, it is not a cookie, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers process basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Vercel handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Fonts and images
All fonts and images are served from this site. Nothing is loaded from Google, social networks or any other third party when you visit.
Links to other sites
Some links, such as LinkedIn, take you to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy rules, which apply once you leave this one.
When you email me
If you write to me, I use your name, email address and message only to reply and to keep track of our conversation. My email runs on Google (Gmail). I keep messages for as long as the conversation is useful, and I'll delete them if you ask.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Just email me. If you're not happy with my answer, you can contact the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.
Apps
This policy covers this website only. The apps I work on have their own privacy policies.

If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
